Petersham Home Prices Swing Widely As Most Sales Go Undisclosed
Petersham recorded 13 property deeds between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only three disclosed a sale price, ranging from $1,563 to $249,000 with a median of $100,000. The period's top disclosed sale was 41 East St., which sold for $249,000 on Sept. 2 from Linda S. Kenney to Cornerstone Bank. Banks and credit unions appeared as a named party in eight of the 13 deeds, and West Street, Old East Street and Monson Turnpike Road each saw two transfers. With most sale prices undisclosed, the available data offers only a partial picture of the month's market activity.
